How do I pay?
When completing your booking, you can pay for the booking online with a credit card through an encrypted and secure payment site. If you don't have the possibility to pay with credit card you can call +46 (0)771-22 33 00 and do your booking. For bookings with an arrival date within 28 days, payment must be made by credit card. See also Conditions of Payment.
When do I have to pay?
Gotland Promotion must receive your 10% down payment immediately on booking, otherwise your booking will be cancelled. Final payment must reach us by at least 28 days before arrival, otherwise the booking will be cancelled according to current booking rules.
What is cancellation insurance?
Cancellation insurance can only be taken out at the point of booking. Cancellation insurance applies to all persons named in the booking. Cancellation insurance applies only in connection with presentation of a doctor's certificate. If the customer chooses to make use of cancellation insurance, all the persons on the booking are cancelled. No partial refund can be given if other people choose to make use of the journey.

Can I give out my card details in security?
Yes, all personal information is written onto an encrypted page (SSL 128 bits), where it is secure to give out details about yourself and your charge card. Your e-mail address will be used in all communications with you about your booking and the destination.
Can I terminate my booking?
Yes, you can cancel once you have begun booking by clicking "Cancel booking" in the shopping basket or on the payment page.
When have I confirmed the booking?
After you fill in the customer information page and click "Confirm Booking", it's time to pay. Click "Approve Transaction" to make a credit card payment. A new page opens where you enter your credit card information. Your reservation is complete once the payment goes through.
What happens if I fall ill?
If you purchase cancellation insurance in connection with booking your accommodation, you can protect yourself against cancellation fees. You can cancel up to 24 hours before travel without paying any fee other than the administration charge of 5% on the price of the booking, though a maximum of 200 kronor if the following occurs (in later cancellations the full fee is payable):
- death, illness or accident of a serious nature, which has affected you yourself, your spouse, partner, your parents, your children or their children, siblings or a fellow traveller.
- call up to military service, or civil defence.
- some serious occurrence takes place outside your own control, for example, a major conflagration or flood at your place of residence, which results in it not being possible for you to retain your booking. You must then substantiate this impediment with a certificate from a doctor, the authorities or an insurance company. Certificates submitted later than seven days after the date of cancellation will not be considered. Cancellation insurance and change, invoicing and booking fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation fees for booked rooms
If you have booked a room, such as a hotel room, that is not a part of a package, cancellation must be made no later than 17.00 the day before. If the cancellation is received later than this, you will be charged the price of one day in the room.
Cancelling an event reservation
Event tickets cannot be changed or cancelled. You will not be reimbursed for an unused ticket.
